was wise.

at the age of 60, you’d never guess it. She looked fabulous. always wearing suitjackets in bright colours and stunning high heels. I remember we had the same shoe size and she bought these amazing silver heels for her daughters wedding. she wore them for ten seconds and off the shoes came. a week later, they were mine!

Heather was 60, but she looked 30 and acted it too. Not that she was immature, but she was just so young at heart.

We had so much fun working at kempenfelt together. Teaching her how to send emails, picking shoes from online stores, ordering pizza, ordering chinese food, bringing candy from home and then counting the calories as we ate it, only to complain how fat we were after.

Heather was an amazing soul. Everyone at kempenfelt knew her, and she knew everyone. She worked at Kempenfelt a long 26 years, everyone knew who she was by her walkie talkie shouting.

I cant believe shes gone. I didnt know that seeing her at Zehrs was the last I would see her. She would always send me little facebook messages telling me to have a good week and reminding me that I wasnt allowed to work in housekeeping my whole life. Im sad shes gone, but so glad that she isnt in pain anymore.

I really dont understand death. It blows my mind! How does it happen? and beyond that, why does it happen?!
